Studio Day

£350 - 8 Hours

Our preferred booking format is a full studio day.

A full-day booking reserves the studio exclusively for your project for the 8-hour period and includes a dedicated engineer operating the studio’s recording, editing and mixing systems.

Additional hours may be added where availability allows and are charged at £45 per hour.

 

Short Sessions

£45 per hour
Minimum booking: 4 hours

Shorter sessions are available where scheduling permits, although full-day bookings are prioritised.

Time exceeding the agreed booking is charged at £45 per hour, rounded to the nearest half hour.

Mixing

Mixing sessions are billed according to studio time.
Estimated time allowances would be discussed in advance for larger projects.

 

Mastering

Professional mastering is available on a per-track basis. Our current rates can be seen here.

Where a project has been mixed at Sansom Studios, mastering may be incorporated efficiently and billed at an hourly rate.

Production

Production services - including artistic direction, arrangement development and pre-production - are quoted separately depending on the scope of involvement required.

Yamaha S6 Grand Piano

Our Yamaha S6 grand piano is available during your studio booking.

• £50 per day of your booking

• £125 per day of your booking, including professional tuning prior to your session

Advance notice is required for tuning.

 

Video Production

We collaborate with a trusted team of professional videographers who regularly work within the studio.

Video services are quoted directly by the videography team depending on the scale of production.

Clients are welcome to bring their own videographer or additional creative personnel, with prior notice to ensure sessions run smoothly.

Bookings

A 50% deposit secures your booking.
The remaining balance is invoiced after the session.

Final audio files are released once full payment has been received.
